Dr. David White opened his dental office from scratch in January 2016 because he wanted to create an environment where every member of the family could receive the best in dental care in a caring, stress-free environment.
In fact, at White Family Dental, the patients are the “family.”
“Our goal is to treat every patient like a member of our family,” Dr. White says. “We take that goal seriously. We know people get anxious about coming to the dentist, but we work to make it a comfortable experience.”
This comfort doesn’t just come from the latest tools, techniques and technology used by the dental experts at White Family Dental. It also comes from the communication Dr. White has with his patients.
“We want patients to take an active part in their dental care,” he says. “We want them to feel comfortable to ask questions, discuss care options and understand how to maximize their oral health.”
They do this by taking time to help patients understand there are several solutions to any particular problem. At White Family Dental, the patient has an active voice in what solution is best for them.
Dr. White is a true family dentist, taking care of the general needs of patients of all ages. He is a resource for parents looking to maximize the health of their children. He’s gentle enough to take care of the needs of pediatric patients and skilled enough to help aging patients.
Dr. White graduated from the Dalhousie University Faculty of Dentistry in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada before completing a one-year general practice residency at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City.
While his formal dental education may be complete, Dr. White considers himself a “student for life,” staying on top of the best industry practices.
The professionals at White Family Dental are always inviting new patients to join their “family.”
Keep it all together
Dr. David White has a particular interest in treating patients in need of implants.
Missing teeth can cause many problems, including teeth movement, bone loss, imbalanced bite, TMJ issues and decreased chewing ability.
Dr. White is experienced in replacing missing teeth with high-quality implants — whether a patient needs one tooth replaced or an entire arch.
Implants allow for a patient to have a healthy smile — and functioning teeth — for years to come.
