Sometimes having faith also requires having a fight song.

Utah County YouTuber Micah Harmon released a new music video mashing together Rachel Platten’s hit pop song, “Fight Song,” and two hymns, “I Hope They Call Me on a Mission” and “Called to Serve.”

“Our goal in making this video is to give everyone a greater desire to fight for what they believe, and to increase love, care, and compassion, throughout the world,” wrote the 14-year-old on his YouTube channel.

Micah, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, decided to use missionaries from the Church as the storyline for the music video in order to showcase their struggle.

“We believe that this is our duty as children of God, and we should fight for what’s right,” Micah wrote on his YouTube channel. … “No matter what your religious beliefs, or where you stand in your life’s journey, the message of this song still pertains to you. Let us fight for each other. Let us fight for love, peace, and what we believe.”

Micah is a member of Utah County’s One Voice Children’s Choir. Other featured artists in the music video include Blake Walker, Travis Harmon, Fianalei Harmon, Kellie Harmon, Trenton Harmon, Tyson Harmon and Acacia Ott.

Awesome song! I didn’t see any mention of “Holding Hands Around the World” by Janice Kapp Perry which is also in this mashup.
