They’re there, the phantoms of the opera. GENTRI got into the Halloween spirit with a “Phantom of the Opera” medley in their newest music video.
“This Halloween season we’re taking the next episode of #GENTRIcovers to the catacombs of the mysterious and legendary Phantom of the Opera,” GENRI wrote on YouTube.
As part of the medley, the group mashed together four songs, including “Think of Me,” “All I Ask of You,” “Music of the Night” and, of course, “Phantom of the Opera.” Plus, there is a organ solo for “Masquerade.”
Richard Elliott, who is the principal organist for the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square (formally known as the Mormon Tabernacle Choir), brings the organ to life for the trio.
The group filmed the music video at St. Mark’s Cathedral in downtown Salt Lake City.
The Utah trio of tenors — which includes Brad Robins, Casey Elliott and Bradley Quinn Lever — started in 2014. In 2017, the trio joined “Pushing Daisies” and Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth for two shows during BYU’s homecoming event, BYU Spectacular.
