Do you feel comfortable with the doctor and the facility?
You should feel comfortable with your provider. Do you like and trust your doctor and staff? Is the facility accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency, such as the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) or the American College of Radiology (ACR)? Does the doctor specialize in comprehensive vascular treatment?

Treatment Options
Venous disease affects everyone differently. That’s why IVC® physicians take the time to get to know you and your veins so you receive the right diagnosis and the right treatment. The initial detailed consultation consists of learning about you, your symptoms and any other related medical conditions. As part of the evaluation, the patient undergoes a detailed ultrasound of the legs, performed by a specially trained and registered sonographer.
The advanced technology used by the IVC® doctors and staff map the unique pattern of veins in each person, so they can better understand the condition. Ultrasound uses painless sound waves to generate high-resolution images, which allow the physician to measure the speed and direction of blood flow and the dimensions and course of normal and abnormal veins.
After the initial examination, a customized treatment plan is determined.
Although each patient’s treatment plan is a little different, most procedures can be done in the IVC® office and most patients are back to routine, daily activity within hours — with almost no downtime.
