LINER NOTES Dr. Stephen Thayer is a professional people watcher — and a source of safety, knowledge and comfort. After earning his bachelor’s and doctorate degrees from BYU, he completed his clinical residency at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center in San Antonio, Texas. His career began as a psychologist in the U.S. Air Force, where he provided therapeutic and assessment services to active duty military members, counseled military leadership about community mental health concerns, and managed a substance abuse prevention and treatment program. Since leaving the military, he’s been in private practice where he provides therapeutic services for depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, spiritual and religious faith concerns, grief, stress, and relationship issues.
