While the team at Gatehouse includes its fair share of men and muscle, you are likely to run into one of the many amazing women when you walk into Gatehouse No. 1’s 10,000-square-foot showroom in Orem.
“I work with the best of the best. Nothing makes me feel better than knowing each and every one of our clients will get the highest treatment from our staff and designers,” says Stephanie Holdaway, owner and lead designer at Gatehouse No. 1 Furniture & Design.
The Gatehouse team is a powerhouse for design and has worked on a variety of design projects ranging from cabins to nurseries, country clubs to powder rooms — there isn’t a design concept or style they can’t master. Recent projects include Home No. 19 in the 2019 Utah Valley Parade of Homes.
“Install is always such a rewarding experience. All the plans and details come together in that moment and you see the dream become reality right before your eyes!” says designer Rachel Folkman. Details are a Gatehouse specialty, with endless options for customizing furniture to meet your specific needs.
What keeps this busy group of ladies going? Frequent Sodalicious runs and Beyoncé dance sessions after close.
“We love to party! We hold seasonal events and reach out to local shops and boutiques to collaborate, many of which are women-run!” Stephanie says.
