It’s “People, Not Employees” for the good folks at Lehi-based WEAVE. They hire based on the core values of being hungry, caring and creative, and they espouse those same values in the way they treat their people — and their people’s people. (Remember to pick your jaw up off the floor after you read about their parental leave sweets and swag.)

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY: There are annual anniversary gifts based on the number of years an employee has been at Weave. Gifts range from a pair of Allbirds to snowboards/skiis, an iPad, and even $3,000 toward a family trip.

PUT ME IN, COACH: The company offers professional life coaching. Each employee who chooses to participate gets access to a life coach they meet with twice a week to help them achieve their goals personally and professionally.

PTOH WOW: Weave employees enjoy unlimited PTO, and health/retirement benefits. In an employee’s 4th year at Weave — and every year beyond — the employee gets $2,000 toward a family trip. If they plan to do service on their vacation, the employee gets an extra $1,000 toward the trip as long as he/she presents what they did to their team upon returning.

HAIR TODAY, HERE TOMORROW: Weave has an in-house salon where employees can book a haircut, wax, deep conditioning treatment, blowout, etc.

Giving Matters

Last year, employees pulled from their personal resources and donated over 11,000 pounds of food to the Utah Food Bank. This year, employees donated over 24,000 pounds of food. Certainly Weave has grown in number of employees this year, but so has the heart of the culture.
