Parents Chris & Julie Hall

After Kennedy’s father died of a heart attack when she was 10, Kennedy and her mom worked through the grief together. Then just before junior year, Kennedy’s mother also died of a heart attack. She again responded with resolve and grit, moving two states away to live with her aunt and uncle. Now, she’s thriving as a senior at brand-new Cedar Valley High and plans to help other families by working in the medical field.

Future plans USU and then medical school.

Motto Put on your big girl pants and deal with it.

Guilty pleasure Long naps and Oreos dipped in milk.

Lesson learned Losing both my parents in the past seven years has taught me life is going to be hard and we are going to hate what happens sometimes. But we can learn from our experiences and teach others what we’ve learned.

Change the world I will change by world by advancing within the medical field so I can do my part to save and help others.

Best advice Focus on the life I have in front of me. I can’t change my past but I can change my future.

Stress management I talk it out so I can view it from a different perspective. This helps me think through what I’m stressed about.

Healthy perspective Since both my parents have passed, I became hyper aware of the health of people around me. And I have become very interested in the medical field and plan to pursue a career in it. I am currently certified EMR and working to get my certification as an EMT.
