Don’t let the Mickey Mouse shoes fool you! Brooke Roney has serious rock ’n’ roll in his soul. Brooke says the best thing about being one of the Nu Skin founders is the opportunity to spend more time with his family. (Which is good considering he has a wife, 12 children and soon-to-be 14 grandchildren.) In 2008, Brooke traded face creams and toothpaste for flames, leather and motorcycles. “I woke up one day and owned a Harley-Davidson franchise,” Brooke says. He runs the Timpanogos dealership in Lindon, and has partnered with his sons in several Utah Valley restaurant originals, such as Marley’s Gourmet Sliders, La Jolla Groves and Good Thyme. Brooke loves seeing his family members’ hard work turn into success.

Rickety Ride “Everyone told us Nu Skin wouldn’t work, and that we were too young.”

Top of the Ferris Wheel “Co-founding Nu Skin and watching it grow from nothing to what it is today has been incredible, but even better than that is watching my children succeed with their dreams.”

Theme Park “My theme park is Disneyland! It’s the happiest place on earth. It’s fun to make people truly happy.”

Gem of the Utah Valley Jamboree “I love to ride horses and snow ski in the mountains, ride Harleys in the canyon, and surf behind a boat in one of our lakes. We live in a great place!”

On Stilts “Gordon B. Hinckley is my hero. He was funny, enjoyed life, lived what he believed and loved people.”

Kettle Korn Quirk “I’m a Disney nut! I have Disney everything: Disney shoes and even a 6-foot wooden Mickey Mouse in my Harley-Davidson office.”

Firework Finish “In the future, I see myself walking down the beach with my wife, holding hands — maybe running so the grandkids can’t catch us! More likely, we will be at Disneyland with all our kids and grandkids.”
