Austin Brown has become a signature part of Thanksgiving Point. He’s been with the Utah Valley icon for the past eight years, and four years ago he became the director of Signature Experiences. Thanksgiving Point hosts more than 50 “signature experiences” every year — including the Tulip Festival and Luminaria, which people travel from all over the world to gaze and gush over. Brown finished his undergrad at UVU in 2017, and will be returning there this fall to earn his MBA.
PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT Earning my bachelor’s degree from UVU and joining the Signature Experiences team at Thanksgiving Point. LEADERSHIP STYLE A mix between coaching/affiliative styles. WOULDA-COULDA-SHOULDA I would have started my secondary education sooner after high school. MAIN MOTIVATION Completing a difficult project and being reliable.
