Savvi Technologies, Inc.
President + Co-founder | Provo | AGE 36
Dan Roberts is reinventing the legal experience for emerging companies, your honor. He is the co-founder and president of Savvi Legal, which is streamlining legal tasks, facilitating founder/attorney interactions, and accurately tracking and storing legal information to empower both founders and attorneys. Prior to Savvi, Roberts was an attorney at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP where he worked with hundreds of VC firms, accelerators and startups throughout the country. He also has a B.S. in biochemistry from BYU, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with Honors, and received his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and a LL.M. from Duke.
PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT TBD, but I’d say that creating a technology platform that is about to completely revolutionize a stagnant and stodgy legal services industry that has resisted change for hundreds of years will hopefully be in the running for top 3. LEADERSHIP STYLE Work hard. Be Positive. WOULDA-COULDA-SHOULDA Spend less time at work and more time with the people I love, for sure. Other than that, I’d say my career path has been what I hoped, though there were definitely moments throughout where I wasn’t sure I’d get where I wanted to be. I’m still not there, but I’m at a point I can be optimistic I’ll get there. WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH Work hard. Be positive. MAIN MOTIVATION Getting to where I can be in a spot financially to spend more time on people and causes I care about.
