Jenica Parcell’s career has been a slice of style, a slice of bravery, and a slice of heart. After starting her popular blog A Slice of Style in 2014, Jenica took a turn for the vulnerable a year later. She published a post sharing her own battle with infertility, along with her IVF journey and letters to her future child. Everything changed. The outpouring of support and shared heartbreak was overwhelming, and Jenica knew she needed to create a community for these women. Jenica and her husband conceived their miracle babies in 2016, and since then she has made it her mission to help women with the mental anguish of infertility. She is a certified life coach and has a weekly podcast called Fearless Infertility, which means she’s talking the talk while walking the walk.
PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENT Getting certified as a life coach and creating my Fearless Infertility program. It’s truly life changing and I love seeing how women go from massive suffering to creating a life they love even during the trial of infertility. I also love that the model I teach helps them in every area of their lives including their relationships and their careers. HARDEST MOMENT Starting my Fearless Infertility program! With A Slice of Style, it never felt too personal when I was talking about products I loved. I have had to grow into a completely different person as I sell my program to women and get over every barrier I have mentally in order to push myself past my comfort zone. I have had to become really bold and let go of all sense of my ego in order to create what these women experiencing infertility truly need. It’s not about me. It’s about them.
